2022 Board Chair - Kacie Stewart
Kacie Stewart sworn in as Livingston Parish Chamber Board Chair
Kacie Stewart, local business owner, was sworn in as the board chair of the Livingston Parish Chamber by Judge Erika Sledge on January 19, 2022 at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting. Kacie is a lifelong resident of the Town of Livingston where she and her husband, Blake, are raising their two sons, Cru and Cash.
Kacie notes, “The opportunities that I’ve had through the chamber have helped me to grow my business, grow my leadership skills, make connections with other business leaders, and meet great people along the way. To share with others my experience and everything that I’ve gained through my own membership with the chamber. I feel like I have a responsibility to do that.”
Kacie noted the future challenges of business. She mentions that businesses will continue to feel the shockwaves from the pandemic in 2022. “We have all been faced with unique challenges these last couple of years, many of which we have never seen or dealt with before.”
“BUT when businesses collaborate through an organization like the chamber and you are facing those challenges, you realize that you are not going through it alone. What the chamber has done is create a hub for businesses. Providing a network of business owners and professionals to make connections, to share ideas, to share problems and the solutions that have worked for them. There is so much value in that.”
“We will continue to face many of the same challenges in 2022. Labor shortages, supply chain slowdowns, improving IT solutions, increasing online presence and the speed and ease in which we can communicate with consumers. It is vital for us all to continue to adapt, evolve and to stay connected.”

- Business advocacy through our long-standing Governmental Affairs program where issues impacting business are addressed in addition to building relationships with local elected officials. Businesses are able to get involved with some of the Business Advocacy pieces. It has been the most impactful for me.
- Leadership Development – with the Leadership Livingston Class & LIVE 2 LEAD programming. “Those are extremely valuable programs offered, and I highly recommend them.”

Kacie closed by mentioning what she feels is the most important and rewarding side effect of chamber membership and that is the relationships that you form with people. “ I am looking forward to this year and hope to inspire more businesses to take advantage of this valuable asset we have in our parish by becoming a part of the chamber.”
