Big Mike's Reopens After Bar Rescue

Big Mike's Sports Bar & Grill is now back in business beginning October 25 after the historic August flood following help from Bar Rescue on Spike TV. Not your typical Bar Rescue, but a rebirth of a community favorite. The Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting on Sunday, October 16, 2016 to welcome them back. Big Mike's is a loyal member and named the the chamber's 2013 Small Business of the Year.

As part of their "Back 2 Biz" Initiatives, the Chamber is honored to have been a part of the celebration by assisting in spreading awareness, and helping community and business become involved to welcome business back. 

About Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce Back 2 Biz Initiatives:
Within a week of the historic rainfall amounts causing flooding through out the parish, the Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce was ready to showcase business by identifying open businesses, generating awareness through Back 2 Biz campaign videos and photos - reaching over 70,000 people, listing publicity partnerships, and keeping business and community informed. The Chamber has been actively advocating on behalf of business and connecting resources for citizens.
