Livingston Parish Business Award Winners Named

The Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize the 9 recipients for its 2016 Annual Business of the Year Awards. The award winners were recognized at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting & Awards Luncheon on January 25, 2017. The recipients stood out for their outstanding businesses and their impact to both the Livingston Parish economy and community. 

Nominees and applicants were sent out of state for judging by an independent panel.  the awards were presented to the winners with 200 plus guests in attendance highlighting the biggest business event of the new year.  "The awards add even more significance following the flood.  We all know our business community was completely shaken up and by the floods of 2016.   We are especially proud this year to recognize the resilience of the businesses here.  Three of the businesses awarded experienced flooding to their property directly," notes Brian Abels, 2016 Chairman of the Board.

Business of the Year (Medium Category) – Quality Engineering & Surveying, LLC
Business of the Year (Small Category) – Elite Chiropractic
New Member of the Year – Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Bobby Tallo Realty
Associate of the Year – Congressman Garret Graves
Member of the Year – Scott Innes’ Hug Magazine
Chairman’s Award – Chad Bacas
Community Impact Award – A Door of Hope Ministries
Legacy Business Award – Valery Watts of  V. Watts Furniture
