Kathy Maust named Livingston Parish Chamber Ambassador of the Year

Each year, the Livingston Parish Chamber recognizes one chamber ambassador in appreciation of their contributions to the ambassador program. Kathy Maust, of Supreme Realtors, received the 2017 honor.

“We are so pleased to recognize Kathy’s dedication to the chamber. She consistently makes herself available to support fellow members -- whether she is attending ribbon cuttings, engaging new members, or sharing news about chamber initiatives. Her genuine enthusiasm for helping others and promoting business and community is the essence of the ambassador role,” Said Chamber President April Wehrs.

The ambassador program is comprised of outgoing, experienced chamber members who are eager to help other professionals navigate the many opportunities available through chamber affiliation. Ambassadors mentor new and existing members, facilitate connections, engage the community, spread the word about events and programs, and encourage members to maximize their chamber experience.

“I was very surprised and honored to receive this award,” Maust said of her recognition, adding that ambassadors work as a team and any one of her fellow ambassadors would have been deserving of the honor.  “The chamber is the cornerstone of the community, and I’m so proud to have the opportunity to be involved with the organization. I’ve been a member since 2006, and I can’t imagine not being a part of the chamber,” Said Maust of her membership.
