Business Leaders sponsor Doyle High School FBLA program
Livingston Parish Chamber of Commerce recently sponsored the Doyle High School FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) team at the March State Competition. Doyle recently reactivated their chapter of student members after several years of inactivity and competed at district competition at SLU. Doyle exceeded expectations with 19 students participating and 14 qualifying for state. Students that qualified for state with superior rankings are Cloey Hammond and Hollie Price - Banking and Financial Team; Haley Hamel and Shelby Noland - Business Ethics Team; Katelyn Griffin - Cyber Securit; Ashlynn Blades - FBLA Principles and Procedures; Brooke Ellzey, Michael Lawson III and Courtney McLin - Hospitality Management; Ashlynn Martell - Job Interview and Word Processing; Brooke Ellzey - Public Speaking I; Alessa Clark, Morgan Diaville, Allyson Holder - Sports/Entertainment Team; and Hollie Price - Spreadsheet Applications.
Students that qualified for state and placed 1st in the district are Katelyn Griffin - Introduction to Information Technology; Taylor Wilkinson - Organizational Leadership; Courtney McLin - Public Speaking II; and Cloey Hammond - Spreadsheet Applications.
